Common questions

• "This device doesn't support face tracking." Anonymask needs a TrueDepth front camera, which is the Face ID camera on iPhone X and newer. iPhone SE models do not have one.
• The screen is black or the camera will not start. Open iOS Settings, find Anonymask, and allow Camera. The app shows a shortcut to that page when access is off.
• My clip has no sound. Allow Microphone for Anonymask in iOS Settings, then record again.
• Videos are not appearing in Photos. Allow Anonymask to add to Photos in iOS Settings, then use Save to Photos from the clips screen.
• Recording paused on its own. Recording pauses when a call comes in or the app goes to the background, so your clip does not capture a frozen stretch. Resume when you are back.
• Is my data uploaded anywhere? No. Anonymask has no servers and makes no network requests. See the Privacy Policy.
